17 Healing Affirmations to Forgive Yourself
Self-forgiveness is one of the most important aspects of healing and falling in love with ourselves. These 17 healing affirmations are here to assist you on your journey to live guilt-free.
The most common reason we get stuck when attempting to heal and change is that we live with chronic guilt, often unconsciously.
This list of healing affirmations is designed for you to pick and choose what speaks to you the most and then practice it daily.
How to get the most out of this list?
You can write them in your journal, recite them, or implement them into your meditation. If you like guided meditations, I invite you to check out this free, 10-minute guided self-forgiveness meditation I put together.
A few things to keep in mind when practicing healing affirmations
- Pick your favorites: Although you can use every affirmation on this list, be a little selective and pick those that speak to you the most or have the best positive emotional impact when you say them.
- Believe what you are saying: Let’s say the affirmation states “I forgive myself”, but this is not believable for you right now. Pick the one that says “I am learning to forgive myself.” The important thing is to pick healing affirmations that sound true to you.
- Take a couple of minutes to feel it: The point of healing affirmations is to evoke a positive, nurturing, or carrying feeling within. This is what gives you strength and hope to heal your guilt. Once you find affirmations that resonate with you, dive into the feeling they give you.
