33 Powerful Affirmations to Uplift, Enrich and Empower Your Heart
Last week, I spoke to one of my clients who happened to land on one of my older podcast episodes where I talked about affirmations. She was captivated by it and found it very helpful.
Although writing affirmations down was never my first tool of choice when healing and investing in my self-care, I realized that recently, I have been using affirmations while meditating a lot. The best part? They worked for me, especially after a week of regular practice.
I decided to share some of them with you and provide you with many more. Before we jump into the list of 33 of them, let me briefly share with you three simple yet important things to keep in mind when it comes to affirmations:
- You should always choose affirmations that speak to your heart, meaning affirmations that create a positive emotional charge.
- Writing affirmations isn’t the only way how to use them. You can mentally repeat them during meditation, set them up on your phone’s alarm as a reminder, download affirmations apps, or recite them in front of the mirror. Opportunities are endless.
- Affirmations only work when you believe them. Below you will notice that some of them are very similar. Choose the one that’s more believable for you. E.g., If “I am learning to love myself” sounds more true to you than “I love myself,” start with that one.
